Turkish Coffee Pot Kit (Rewritten):
A xhezve is the Albanian word for a Turkish Coffee Pot. Pronounced "jezz-veh" (the "xh" makes a sound sort of like "jazz"). This is the complete Turkish coffee pot kit for making authentic Turkish coffee at home.
Experience the art of traditional Turkish coffee with this exquisite handcrafted xhezve, made by skilled artisans near Istanbul's legendary Grand Bazaar. Each piece features a stunning hand-hammered copper exterior that catches the light beautifully, paired with a food-safe tin interior for optimal brewing, and finished with a beautifully hand-crafted wooden handle.
Built with luxurious weight and durability, this xhezve is crafted from heavy 2mm thick stainless steel construction, weighing in at a substantial 10 ounces that gives it a premium feel in your hand. Unlike those cheap, flimsy pots that can't hold their heat, our thick metal construction retains heat better and longer, creating a controlled buildup and cooldown process. This isn't just about quality, it's essential to the ritual. The thermal mass allows you to use the pressure of the upward boil to perfectly pour off the top third into your cup, then return it to the hot sand to build pressure again without losing your rhythm.
This kit includes everything you need: a 6 ounce Turkish Coffee Pot (xhezve), a long-handled wooden spoon ideal for stirring and tasting, your choice of glass jar (small or large, if available), and Turkish ground coffee (choose Mirdita for regular or Hëna for decaf).
This xhezve has a 6 oz cooking capacity, perfectly suited for brewing our signature Turk"ish" coffee, where tradition meets intention. We boil the coffee three times, each pour representing a moment in time. The first third is the past, poured with 2 ounces of half and half into an 8 ounce cup. The second third is the present, where you're pulling the best coffee into the cup. Then comes the prayer for the future: "God, let this last third have enough coffee and goodness to give the best wishes forward to our guest from this moment and 100 years forward into their future!" Then you yell "Yella Habibi!" as you pour the final third into the cup. Maybe yelling out loud is a bit much, but you catch my drift.
The traditional hammered pattern isn't just beautiful, it's a testament to authentic craftsmanship passed down through generations. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or looking to bring an authentic cultural experience to your home, this handmade xhezve delivers both beauty and function. Each piece is unique, bearing the individual marks of the artisan who crafted it, making your xhezve truly one of a kind. ♥☕
