Charlotte Metro: Where It All Began

Saimir moved to Charlotte in October 2020, right in the middle of COVID-19 shut down. By April 2021, frustrated by the lack of live networking events, he started hosting his own through Rockstar Connect. For six months, he created the spaces he couldn't find, bringing young professionals networking together in person with the hope of eventually meeting enough people to let them know about my future coffee company. David Cauble, founder of Network Charlotte, noticed what he was doing and suggested a partnership. David had started the group back in 2009 and was looking for someone to help carry it forward. They worked together a few years, building a community of young professionals who actually wanted to connect, not just collect business cards. Network Charlotte became more than just events.

It became a foundation, literally. With David retiring and Hannah Fitch who came as an executive at exactly the right time, they filed the non-profit paperwork and made it official. Hannah has been the key in growing the organization across her homebirth city of Charlotte, striking partnerships with supporters and other networking groups continuing Network Charlotte Foundation's mission to connect Charlotteans in Charlotte.

Jeremy kept asking Saimir about his status on Zemra's Coffee, the future business he kept talking about. Jeremy's philosophy on how to build community and lead a good life is that of a Golden Retriever. A really simple idea. Help your friends achieve the things that they say they want to achieve with maximum enthusiasm. If the friend is willing to meet Jeremy's energy, he'll happily contribute to the growth of that project and you'll find that he'll work all the time, over-time and every week like clockwork. We're not sure what all that heart is running on, but good vibes and caffeine are the primary components. Read Jeremy's story here.

Charlotte has a great foundation of Southern Charm in a city that also has many transplants; people from everywhere building something new together. Turk"ish" coffee fits perfectly here. We are about slowing down, having real conversations, and honoring tradition while creating something fresh.

Whether it's a corporate event in Uptown, a wedding in Ballantyne, or a realtor's open house in Myers Park, our Turk"ish" coffee cart adds that unforgettable touch that makes people pause and connect. We Serve: Charlotte, Concord, Matthews, Ballantyne, Huntersville, Lake Norman, and throughout Mecklenburg County.
